Relatively cheaper costs.  This may not be as obvious as the other two benefits we just discussed above, but in many cases, you do save up on money when you buy timeshares.  How so?  You purchase a timeshare for a flat outright fee.  What you pay for is today’s prices, even if you are not going to use the timeshare till next year.  If the prices go up, which they probably will, then you definitely have saved some money.  More so, accommodations associated with timeshare properties are more often than not, more luxurious that what you would normally get at a hotel or resort.  Cramped hotel rooms are a vacationer’s nightmare – this is not the case with most timeshare units.  Another thing, if you are a regular vacationer, timeshares will definitely help you cut down on your costs as you make the full use out of your property.

Flexibility.  This really depends on the type of timeshare that you purchase.  If your timeshare arrangements allow you to pick a week in a certain period and allow you to exchange your points for other resorts as well, then you have the full advantage of having flexible terms as to the time and place that you will spend your vacation in.
